In this project FORMS developed the design of a HANLIM community centre. The various components of the program have been treated as integrated volumes that allow a celebration of visual continuity and communal integrity. Our design philosophy combines social disciplines and looks at design in a holistic, and practical manner. This approach allows us to create a destination that provides facilities where people can meet, interact, socialize, and enthusiastically participate in academics. As a result, these facilities will play a huge role in  integrating  both nationals as well as research into the korean professors in a academic environment and facilitating social integration of professor into doing much for the cause of learning.
The building is designed in a modular classic fashion with many elements having the potential to be prefabricated stone and expansion can take place with more facilities being added if required without disrupting the existing facilities. Large glass facades are covered with photovoltaic cells which allow for classic atmosphere in interior spaces while preserving the environment by reducing energy consumption.
